Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow!

This is my entry for the Papertake Weekly Challenge - Let it Snow, Let It Snow, Let it Snow!..... which is to make a snow related card. I'm also entering it in the Cute Card Thursday Challenge.

My offering features snowflakes on the background paper, some embossed snowflakes, a snowman, snowballs, and a snowflake embellishment. I have used my new Sugar Nellie Snow Juggler stamp coloured with Faber-Castell watercolour pencils. The papers are from Shabby Princess, a little contrast using my Cuttlebug Snowflake folder, computer generated sentiment, some glitter and a little bling from my stash.

Papertake Weekly Challenge

This weeks Papertake Weekly Challenge is based on Katharinas sketch #12.

This is my entry which uses a Penny Black 12 Days of Christmas stamp (calling birds) which I have used without the PB sentiment. The paper is Pink Petticoat and the image is coloured with Whispers pens.

I have come to the conclusion that I can't cut or stick straight and this must be as a result of one of four reasons:

1) I have a squinty eye
2) I have one leg shorter than the other
3) The house is subsiding
4) I have a squinty eye, one leg shorter than the other and the house is subsiding

I'm off to bed now to consider possible solutions - nighty night.

Another Day Another Challenge

Tonight spent making an entry for this weeks Papertake Weekly Challenge which is based on Katharina's sketch #8. I have used a Pink Petticoat image, Basic Grey Two Scoops paper and a little bling. Hope you like it - thanks for looking.

My First Challenge Attempt

Here is my first attempt at a challenge! This one is a Papertake Weekly Challenge and is based on Katharina's Sketch #7. The stamp is Sugar Nellie's Maggie, paper is Basic Grey Two Scoops, Prima flowers and Papercellar gems.

I hope this is a fair interpretation of the sketch. I really like the semi-circle shape on the card but would have liked it to have some embossing on it - I can feel a trip to Craftology coming on and a possible Cuttlebug purchase - someone get me to rehab please!!!
