Sweet Sixteen

This is another entry (God loves a trier!) for the Pink Petticoat competition to win a Slice machine. I'm also entering it in the Cute Card Thursday Challenge whose theme this week is lilac.

The card is for Emma who will be sweet sixteen on 20th December. Her mum describes her as high maintenance, loves make-up, hates housework, very opinionated but very caring and loving - oh and she has purple hair. She also loves drama and is nicknamed 'The Drama Queen' by her family.

I've used a Lola Rose image and coloured her in rose and lilac. The background papers are from PP Lola's Boudoir Collection. I've printed most of her mum's description of her on the plain lilac background, added some purple ribbon, a happy birthday tag, some prima flowers and a little bling in the centre of the flowers and on the handbag.

Thanks for looking!

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow!

This is my entry for the Papertake Weekly Challenge - Let it Snow, Let It Snow, Let it Snow!..... which is to make a snow related card. I'm also entering it in the Cute Card Thursday Challenge.

My offering features snowflakes on the background paper, some embossed snowflakes, a snowman, snowballs, and a snowflake embellishment. I have used my new Sugar Nellie Snow Juggler stamp coloured with Faber-Castell watercolour pencils. The papers are from Shabby Princess, a little contrast using my Cuttlebug Snowflake folder, computer generated sentiment, some glitter and a little bling from my stash.

Thanks for looking!

Cute Card Thursday

This week's Cute Card Thursday challenge is to use red and green on your card.

On my entry I've used Shabby Princess papers to make two cards. On the first I've used a Pink Petticoat image, ribbon from my stash and a jingle bell bought from Lakeland.

On the second it's all the same ingredients (only the papers have been reversed) and minus the jingle bell.

I also took a brave pill before stamping a sentiment directly on the card from Dimension Forth.

Right I'm off to the Penny Black Saturday Challenge now.

Thanks for looking!

The Two Of Us

This weeks Cute Card Thursday challenge theme is 'The Two Of Us'. So anything goes as long as there are two of something on your card, it could be 2 people, 2 animals or 1 of each. This is my entry just a little girl and her teddy. I made this one using scraps of paper and card so I am very smug with myself for being so virtuous and so green! I save loads of scraps but I am absolutely rubbish at finding uses for them.

Relax.....You're Worth It!

Here is my card for the Cute Card Thursday challenge. The challenge this week is to make a card with the theme of 'In The House', anything which can be found in the home.

Mine features a lovely, bubbly bath which I think looks a bit art deco in style - I hope you agree.

The papers and image are from Pink Petticoat and the bubbles are Stickles Icicle.

Cute Card Thursday

My second attempt at a challenge this time for Cute Card Thursday Challenge #20 Things That Grow.

I am not sure if fairies grow (I suppose they must) but the background paper has flowers, the fairy has a flower and there are some Prima flowers at the bottom. I like the dangly legs and silver shoes - a very glam fairy!

All I need to do now is post a comment on the Cute Card Thursday blog and hope for the best.
