Blue Belle

This one is for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge which is a recipe challenge - three flowers, two papers and one ribbon.

I have used the scraps from the 50th birthday card made yesterday - Pink Petticoat Lola's Boudoir in Bluebell (love this colour). The little hedgie is coloured with Whispers watercolour pens, the pressie has also been glittered and highlighted with a Sakura gel pen, the flowers are die cut with punched middles, a little ribbon and bling from my stash.

Thanks for looking!

Soooooo.. Green

This weeks challenge over on Penny Black Saturday is no patterned paper.

This is my entry using scraps from previous cards - midnight blue glitter board, green snowflake embossed paper, PB image coloured using Whispers pens, some holly cut from some previous cards I wasn't sure about and some bling from my stash. I'm also entering it in the Friday Sketchers Challenge.

So no more trees were harmed in the making of this card - surely I should get extra points for that?

Thanks for looking!

Pink Tutu

This is my entry for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge theme which is monochromatic. So you can choose black & white or you can go with different shades of one colour. It's entirely up to you what you create - card, atc, altered art etc.... as long as you include at least one Penny Black Stamp.

So this little pink confection has been run up from some scraps from previous cards.
I have used Summer Driggs Awareness paper, a PB image coloured with Faber-Castell watercolour pencils, a little glitter on the hedgie's tutu, a computer generated sentiment and some bling from my stash.

Thanks for looking!

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

It is an extremely dreich day here today - wind, driving rain - a typical Scottish day really. Definitely a day for staying in and making as many cards as possible as I'm off to a Christening tomorrow and won't get my fix. Anyway, this is my entry for this weeks Penny Black Saturday Challenge.

K&Co Sparkly Sweet papers again (I love these colours), Penny Black 'So Cute' Image, Prima flowers and a Papermania sentiment (not sure if I like these but I don't have any suitable sentiment stamps for a circle).

In the second card - I prefer this one - I've used the same image but in very muted colours zinged up with a little gold. The papers are scraps from Summer Driggs Vintage Oreos which were left over from a previous card.

Thanks for looking!

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

I have my sensible head on today - I've done the housework BEFORE getting the craft stuff out. Usually I can't resist and do it the other way around with the inevitable result - 3 o'clock, house a tip, craft stuff everywhere and then a major panic clean up operation.

So here is my entry for this weeks Penny Black Saturday Challenge which is to decorate the inside of your card.

I have used Retro Candy paper by Vicki, the Penny Black image is coloured with Whispers pens and a watercolour brush, flowers cut using Cricut and litte gems in the middle of the polka dot flowers on the inside.

On The First Day Of Christmas....

......my true love sent to me

Here is my entry for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge #9. At the minute I don't have that many Penny Black Stamps but I recently bought the 12 Days of Christmas set.

So first Penny Black Challenge, first Christmas card of many and again made out of scraps. I am soooo green I'll be wearing hessian knickers next!
