Good morning everyone I hope you are having a good Saturday. I had hoped to catch a few rays today but it looks like it's not to be.
Anyway, this is my entry from the Papertake Weekly Challenge. The theme this week is digital so I thought I would have a go at a pop-up card. It wasn't as hard as I thought but I think my technique needs some perfecting.
To qualify for the challenge I have used Big Dots for the background and the lovely Ella from Pink Petticoat on the inside - isn't she gorgeous? I also had a little experiment with my Cricut Design Studio for the name and sentiment. Some bling and a flower on her bootie and that's it.

This is my first try at the Allsorts Challenge which this week is wings.
I've used my favourite Pink Petticoat birdie complete with wellies to match the dreich day we're having. The DP is the other half of the download used on my previous card from Papercraft Inspirations. The sentiment is computer generated, I've added a little stitching around the outside and some Card Candy in lovely sweetie colours.
The banner on this challenge blog made me think of my favourite Liquorice Allsort. I've not eaten these sweets for ?? (that would be telling!) years but I loved the round ones with the little beads all over them- what's your favourite?

Wish Big
Hello everyone - hope you're having a great Saturday. The weather here is dreich so we won't feel guilty about staying in and indulging in a little crafting will we?
This little number fits three challenges nicely - Penny Black (embossing), Friday Sketchers (the sketch) and Secret Crafter (pink and green). The DP is a download from Papercraft Inspirations, the image and sentiment are from PB coloured with Faber-Castell watercolour pencils, Cuttlebug embossing folders and some Card Candy.
Off to have a browse around for another challenge - I'll be back later.

Wedding Duo
Over on the Pink Elephant Challenge the theme this week is to create a project of your choice with a Wedding Theme.
I've chosen a wedding card
with a matching money card to give as a wedding gift.
Both cards were made using a combination of my Cuttlebug, Cricut and Fiskars punches. Not a lot more to say on that other than I like the simple and clean cut result - I hope you agree.

Saucy!
Last one for today and I'm quite pleased with myself I've managed to make four cards today. However I'm keeping two of them for later (they might fit some challenges - got to keep the old visitor count up haven't we?).
This one is for Cute Card Thursday (I haven't entered this one for ages!) and the theme is quotations. I've chosen one from Mae West:
“When choosing between two evils, I always like to try the one I've never tried before.”
- Mae West (1892-1980)
All the DP's are Pink Petticoat scraps (even better), the quote has been computer generated, the ribbon and bling are from my stash.
Off to get organised for the week ahead and then sit down with a glass of something chilled. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and thanks for looking!

Happy Birthday Penny Black
Still struggling a bit with the cold and sound like Barry White but hopefully over the worst of it now.
BIG Birthday Wishes to Penny Black Saturday Challenge and here is a little card for you - have a good one!
The DP is a freebie from Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine - spots and stripes my fave - the image is from PB coloured with Whispers pens, some freehand doodles using a Sakura glaze pen and the sentiment is from my new Sizzix alpha plate which I bought yesterday.
I quite like this one, I've made very little lately and what I have made I haven't really liked, so all in all the day is going OK.

Hedgie Hello
What a difference a week makes. Last weekend we were basking in glorious sunshine and this weekend.......well let's just leave it at that lest I'm banned from blogland for bad language.
To top it all I have a stinking cold, my throat is on fire and I'm doing a fair impersonation of Rudolph. I've been awake since 4 a.m. and have been sneezing and sniffling ever since......no amount of slap is going to disguise this sorry situation so it's a day for indoors today.
Anyway enough moaning. Here is my card for Sketch Saturday (sketch), Penny Black (blooming gorgeous - flowers) and Secret Crafter (bling).
The DP is from Pink Petticoat Rainbow Doodles and Washed Out Collections in Papaya. The image is PB coloured using Whispers Brush Markers and a water pen, the ribbon, bling and letters are from my stash.
