I Mustache You A Question...

My LIM entry this week represents my obsession with facial hair and the eradication thereof. This week the challenge is a one layer card with three of something on it.

I've paper pieced a moustache image three times with various papers from Summer Driggs Beautimous range. The sentiment is computer generated.

Is your morning beauty routine being overtaken by the search for those little blighters which pop up overnight? Every single one must go before you even start to think about your lotions and potions. Is this a fruitless and thankless task? Maybe I've got it all wrong - perhaps I should start a support group (The Hairy Marys) - hairy ladies unite and embrace those wayward follicles. As they say in Italy - donna barbuta, sempre piaciuta – everyone loves a woman with a beard.

Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!

  2. This made me smile Kimberley. Love the paper piecing.
On to the subject in question. Yes! where do those little blghters come from. My lovely hubby is always asking why I have the tweezers out again! I just don't want to end up like an elderly lady who lived opposite us when we were children. She was in her 70'2 but had lots of long wispy hair growth all round her chin. Every Sunday her hubby gave her a shave - in the garden shed of all places. A lovely lady but we used to laugh about her beard, well we were only children then! Shame on us.

  12. I love this. Isn't it awful the way the hairs you don't want seem to get thicker & darker & the hairs you want to keep get whiter!

  15. Great card and a smashing post. I can relate to that. At least we don`t get it growing out of our ears. My grandson thought my hubby was an alien first time he noticed his ear hair. The clippers are never far away now lol.

  16. I Just Love the mustaches on your card! You are so right after one got loose and no one told me until we got to the restaurant I now carry tweezers everywhere. Gotta love family when they offer to pull it out and it becomes a game for them...lol
