Horsepower

Hello bloggers.  Here's my entry for this weeks LIM challenge which is to use more than one stamp.     I can't believe I've actually used proper stamps and not my beloved digi variety - perhaps I'll be converted (nae, nae and thrice nae).  Anyway the VW camper and the sentiment is from Kanban and of the inky variety and the tree is a cheeky wee digi.    If I ever use this card I'll make a personalised number plate for the van.

And now onto another kind of horsepower.  On Monday we went to see the magnificent Kelpie sculptures.   They are absolutely beautiful and I'm sure they would be even more spectacular and sparkly on a sunny day - unfortunately Bank Holiday Monday was not one of them (there's a surprise!).   Each of The Kelpies stands up to 30 metres tall and weighs over 300 tonnes.

The fabulous Kelpie duo with my equally fabulous chocolate drop in the foreground.  And to follow some more photos without my little darling stealing the limelight.

That's all for now folks - have a great week and thanks for looking.

Smile

Helloooooo strangers!

Once again I can't believe how long it's been since I've participated in the LIM (or any other)challenge. Despite the fact that I now have a dedicated craft room I seem to get embroiled in other things.

Anyway the challenge this week is to use a die cut. I've used a Sizzix camera die on various scraps of paper and computer generated the sentiment.

And here is a little photography funny courtesy of Pinterest:

That's all folks for this week - I'm surprised I remember how to do all this - take care and have a great weekend.

Happy New Year!

Wishing all my readers a very happy, healthy and prosperous 2014. I would also like to offer you some advice if you are over 21: Hogmanay is the only acceptable time to wear body glitter without looking tragic. I also thought I would help you with your resolutions - these suggestions are actually achievable:

Gain weight. Put on at least 30 pounds.

Start buying lottery tickets at a luckier store.

Stop exercising. Waste of time.

Watch more TV. You've been missing some good stuff.

Gain enough weight to get on The Biggest Loser.

Procrastinate more.

Do less laundry and use more deodorant.

Don't waste your time relieving the past, instead worry about the future.

Drink. Drink some more (it will help you forget the past).

When becoming tearful through alcohol - drink more really quickly to progress to the next level - your runny mascara makes you look like an ugly version of Alice Cooper.

Stop buying worthless junk on Ebay.

Stop taking a packed lunch to work: you really should eat out more.

I hope these help - you will feel so much happier knowing you have achieved your goals.

Once again, have a good one.
